‘The Great Search’ is what we are all on. Whether we are seeking worldly fulfilment in the realms of ‘money, food & sex’, or some sort of other-worldly spiritual fulfilment in a meditation technique, secret esoteric text or even nature. We seek consolation from being a separate self, bewildered by this world we live in. The tracks on this album are simply an honest expression of my own experience with these searches and my commentary of how these searches play out in the world. Ironically, the making of the album itself is a search…So, may I one day find the equanimity to incorporate music into sadhana (spiritual practice).
